Terms of Use

Last updated: March 2026. These Terms of Use are between you and StarQuester LLC ("StarQuester," "we," "us"). By using the StarQuester website and application, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StarQuester, you accept and agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, Data Policy, and Amazon Policy. These terms apply to all users, including visitors and registered users.

Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
  • Have the authority to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law.

If you use StarQuester on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these terms.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering. We may implement security measures consistent with industry and Amazon Solution Provider requirements (e.g., account lockout after failed login attempts, secure credential storage).

A single free trial may apply per user or account; we reserve the right to restrict additional trials. Circumventing trial or usage limits may result in suspension or termination.

Use of the Service

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Damage, disable, or impair the platform or others' use of it.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, accounts, or data.
  • Use automated systems (e.g., bots, scrapers) to access the service without our written consent.
  • Share, transfer, or sell your account to another party.

StarQuester grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform in accordance with these terms. This license does not permit commercial exploitation of our content or technology without our written consent.

You may use the Services only for your internal business purposes. You may not:

  • Sublicense, rent, or timeshare the Services to others.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the platform.
  • Use the Services if you are a direct competitor of StarQuester (e.g., offering Amazon seller support or review-automation tools to third parties) except with our prior written consent.

Subscriber Data and Third-Party Hosting

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any data you submit to or use within the Services. We may host the Services and store your data using third-party service providers; we remain responsible for their handling of your data as required by our agreements with you and applicable law.

We may use subprocessors (e.g., hosting, payment processing) to provide the Services. Such subprocessors are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations consistent with our Privacy Policy and Data Policy. A list of material subprocessors is available upon request.

Amazon Authorization and API Access

When you connect your Amazon Seller Central account, you authorize StarQuester to access certain data via Amazon's Selling Partner API. We use this access to:

  • Retrieve order data (e.g., order IDs, status, delivery dates, ASIN/SKU) to determine when orders are eligible for review requests.
  • Send product review and seller feedback requests through Amazon's official solicitation (Request a Review) system, in compliance with Amazon's policies.

We do not sell, share, or use your Amazon data for purposes other than providing our services. You may revoke our access at any time from Seller Central. If you revoke access or we or Amazon terminate the relationship, we will handle and delete Amazon data in accordance with our Data Policy and Amazon's requirements.

Fees and Payments

Subscription plans and pricing are described on our website. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to the applicable plan terms and to pay all fees when due. Unless otherwise stated, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (e.g., monthly or annually) and we will charge the payment method on file at our then-current rates until you cancel. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law or as we otherwise specify. We may change pricing or plans with notice; continued use after changes may constitute acceptance.

If payment fails, we may suspend access until payment is successfully completed. You are responsible for keeping your payment method up to date. You are responsible for any taxes (other than taxes on our net income) that apply to your use of the Services.

Upon termination or at your request before closing your account, we will make your account data available for export or download for a reasonable period (e.g., 30 days) where technically feasible, subject to our Data Policy and applicable law.

Modifications and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or terminate the platform or these terms at any time, with or without notice. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may also suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, violation of Amazon or other third-party policies, or for any other reason we deem appropriate.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You use the platform at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StarQuester and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StarQuester and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

We will defend you against any third-party claim that the Services, as provided by us, infringe a U.S. copyright, trade secret, or patent, and we will indemnify you for any damages finally awarded (or amounts paid in settlement) on that claim, provided you notify us promptly and give us sole control of the defense. If the Services become or we believe may become the subject of such a claim, we may modify or replace the Services to avoid infringement. This states our entire liability and your sole remedy for intellectual property infringement claims relating to the Services.

Confidentiality

You agree to keep confidential any non-public information we provide in connection with the Services (including the platform itself and our policies, technology, and pricing) and to use it only for your authorized use of the Services. This obligation survives termination of your account.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, internet or infrastructure failures). We will resume performance when the cause is removed.

Severability and Survival

If any part of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Confidentiality, and Governing Law) will survive.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of the State of California, to the extent permitted by law.

Notices

We may give you notice by email to the address in your account or by posting on the platform. Notices to us must be sent to support@starquester.com. Notices are effective when received.
