What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site recognize your device, remember your preferences, and improve your experience.
How We Use Cookies
Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website and application to function. Without them, core features (such as logging in and using the dashboard) would not work.
- Sign-in: keeps you logged in after authentication, for up to 24 hours. Required for the dashboard; it holds no payment data.
- Security: protects sign-in (including “Continue with Google”) and account support against forged requests. These last from a few minutes to a few hours.
- Your cookie choices: remembers which cookie categories you allowed, and when, so we don't ask again.
Performance and Analytics
We use PostHog, which processes analytics data on our behalf, to understand how visitors use our site (e.g., pages visited, links clicked). With analytics cookies on, PostHog stores an identifier in your browser and may record your visit to help us fix problems, with anything you type hidden. Outside the EU, EEA and UK they are on unless you turn them off. In the EU and EEA they stay off until you allow them; until you choose, PostHog counts your visit without setting any cookie or using any browser storage, using an anonymous identifier that changes every day and can't be linked to you. In the UK, as UK law allows, we use PostHog for statistics only by default: an anonymous identifier counts visits and journeys so we can improve the site, never records your visit and is never linked to you or your account; recordings start only if you choose “Accept all”. Wherever you are, turning analytics cookies off (“Reject all”) stops analytics on your visits altogether. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is collected in each case. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie preferences in the footer.
Functionality Cookies
These cookies remember your preferences and settings: your country (from your IP address, so we apply the right cookie rules and show the right prices) and currency, each for 30 days, and dashboard display preferences.
Advertising Cookies
We use Google Ads to advertise StarQuester. If you allow advertising cookies, we load the Google Ads tag, which sets cookies lasting up to 90 days so Google can measure which of our ads brought you to our site, and may show our ads again to people who have visited before. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, the tag doesn't load until you allow advertising cookies; elsewhere it loads unless you turn them off. Google may also set cookies on its own domains; see how Google uses cookies in advertising.
Third-Party Cookies
Our site may include content or links from third parties (e.g., Amazon for seller authorization, Stripe for payment). Those parties may set their own cookies when you interact with their services. We do not control these cookies. Please review their respective privacy and cookie policies (e.g., Amazon, Stripe) for more information.

Use (also “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page) to turn analytics or advertising cookies on or off at any time. Essential cookies are always on.
